How to setup account monitoring and notifications
Learn how account monitoring works and how to get notified in your agency management system.
Setting your account monitoring
During onboarding, you will need to decide how far in advance you want account monitoring to run for both personal and commercial policies.
These ranges are set separately and can be adjusted as needed on an ongoing basis.
Recommended ranges
Line of Business | Range |
Personal | 60 Days |
Commercial | 90 Days |
In order to get the maximum value from account monitoring, the ranges should be before any regularly scheduled or automated communications to policyholders. For example, if ABC Agency has an automated renewal sequence that is sent to customers at 45 days before expiration, then that agency would want top ensure that account monitoring was happening at least 15 days before that.
Ensuring the correct operation of Account Monitoring may require an agency to adjust its communication process for renewals.

Setting Weekly Email Notifications for Account Monitoring
ReFocus AI makes it easy to keep the right people on the team informed about account monitoring alerts. This setting is recommended for admins and managers who need to see a high-level report for all accounts that were found at risk.
Configuring Agency Management Notifications
Whenever Account Monitoring detects an account that is at risk of cancellation, it can create either a task or a note in most agency management systems.

If task creation is desired, the default is that any tasks will be assigned to the account manager for that specific policy with a due date of 7 days in the future.
