How to use One-Time Passwords

OTP makes it easy to securely login

To sign in to ReFocus, all you need is the email address you used to create your account and access to the inbox to retrieve a confirmation code.

Note: You must have access to the email address associated with your ReFocus account to reset your password. If you've lost access to the email address, contact your workspace admin.

On the login page, you will be prompted to enter your email address.

After selecting Log In, you will receive an alphanumeric code in your email inbox.

Enter this code on the login screen to authenticate yourself.

🔍OTP guidelines: Your one-time Password (OTP) will always come from support@refocusai.com. We will never contact you and ask for your OTP.

Troubleshooting

You can't login with your email

If you followed the steps above but cannot login, your workspace has single sign-on enabled. Instead of entering a one-time password, your company requires you to sign in using an identity provider like Microsoft or G Suite.

You didn't get a password reset email

Check your Spam folder and talk to your IT team. If emails from Slack aren’t getting delivered to your inbox, ask IT to allow emails from support@refocusai.com.

You lost access to the email address on your account

For security purposes, you must be able to access the email address associated with your ReFocus account to reset your password. If that's not possible, please contact your Workspace Administrator to update the email address associated with your account. Note that administrators can't reset or change passwords.

ReFocus can’t find an account registered with your email

If you see a message telling you we can't find an account registered with your email address, it usually means one of two things:

  • There's a mistake in your email address. It could be a typo or the wrong email address. Check that it's the same email you used to sign up to your ReFocus workspace.
  • You may be trying to sign in to a different ReFocus workspace.
