Using Automatic Remarketing
Automatic Remarketing allows ReFocus to automatically trigger remarketing based on the conditions you set.
Once configured, ReFocus reviews your policies each week and automatically triggers remarketing when a policy matches your saved criteria. This helps reduce manual work while still giving your team full flexibility to run remarketing manually whenever needed.
➡️ Who should use this
- Admins can configure, update, and pause Automatic Remarketing
- Users can understand how it works and continue using manual remarketing as needed
➡️ What you can configure
Automatic Remarketing uses:
Trigger Conditions
These determine when a policy should be automatically remarketed.
Current conditions include:
- Days before expiration
- Premium increase
- Line of business
- Risk level
- Premium range
Carrier Selection
This determines which carriers ReFocus should include when automation runs.
➡️ Important to know
Turning Automatic Remarketing on does not start automation by itself.
The feature is effectively inactive until you have:
- turned the feature on
- added at least one trigger condition
- saved your settings
If no conditions are saved, nothing will be automatically triggered.
➡️ How to set up Automatic Remarketing
1. Open Remarketing Automation Setup
On this page, you will see:
- the Active toggle
- the Trigger Conditions section
- the Select Carriers section
- the Save Settings button
2. Turn the feature on
Use the Active toggle to enable Automatic Remarketing.
3. Add your trigger conditions
In the Trigger Conditions section, click Add Condition and set the rules ReFocus should use during its weekly review.
These conditions define which policies should automatically enter remarketing.
4. Select your carriers
In the Select Carriers section, choose the carriers you want included in the automation.
Depending on the line of business, you may see carrier options separated by type, such as:
- Choose Home Carrier
- Choose Auto Carrier
5. Save your settings
Click Save Settings to apply your configuration.
Your automation will not run until your settings have been saved.
➡️ What happens after setup
After setup is saved, ReFocus will review your policies once each week.
If a policy matches your saved conditions, ReFocus will automatically trigger remarketing using the carriers you selected.
You can still run manual remarketing at any time.
➡️ Update or pause your setup
To edit your automation
Open Remarketing Automation Setup, update the conditions or carrier selection, and click Save Settings.
To pause your automation
Open Remarketing Automation Setup and turn the Active toggle off.
When the automation is paused, ReFocus stops automatically triggering remarketing from this setup. Manual remarketing remains available.
➡️ Best practices
- Start with a small set of clear conditions
- Select only the carriers you want used for automated remarketing
- Revisit your setup as your workflow changes
- Continue using manual remarketing for special cases
